Canadian government defines four types of authorized representative for handling immigration matter. They are:
- Paralegals (Ontario only) must be members of the Law Society of Upper Canada
- Notaries who are members in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec, and
- Lawyers who are members in good standing of a Canadian provincial or territorial law society
- Citizenship or immigration consultants who are members in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC)
Being Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and members in good standing with ICCRC, our practice is strictly regulated by the professional code of ethics.
