Jay Choi, Founder

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jay completed a Bachelor’s degree in Korea University. His career in his home country was a Human Resources Director within Korea Consumer Agency before immigrating to Canada in 2002. Having studied Legal Administrative Assistant program at Manitoba Institute of Trade and Technology (formerly Winnipeg Technical College), Jay worked as a legal assistant at a law office. He designed and operated various schooling programs for elementary and secondary students in South Korea, through which they were able to explore Canadian culture and gain truly unique learning experience from Manitoba’s public and private education system.

Graduating Humber College’s Immigration Consultant program, Jay has been a member in good standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council. Practising immigration laws for more than 7 years, Jay is knowledgeable about Canadian immigration law and regulations.

Yeonok Sul,
Program Director
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Yeonok studied Fine Arts in Ewha Women’s University. She operated a private educational institute art programs and held about a dozen exhibitions for her artwork. After immigrating to Canada with Jay in 2002, she has engaged in and helped Jay’s business operation time to time. She officially joined Hanwood in January 2016, focusing on consultation and marketing activities.

Brad Choi, Program Manager

Brad came to Canada with his family when he was in a junior high school. After acquiring a degree in University of Waterloo, he joined Hanwood Emigration in 2013. While working as an assistant, he studied and finished Humber College’s Immigration Consultant program and became a regulated Canadian immigration consultant. A member in good standing with ICCRC, Brad specializes in labour market impact assessment (LMIA), economic streams of immigration programs, and criminality rehabilitation.

Hyun Sik Kim,
Office Administrative Assistant

I was born in Jeonju, and started foreign exchange program from elementary school in Canada and graduated college from Seattle, WA. Having approximately 10 years of experience abroad studying have led myself to Canada in the end. I am glad that I have been given an opportunity to help/assist many people’s immigration to Canada.
